Role Description 

As the system test engineer, you will get the unique opportunity to be a part of a cross-functional engineering team developing technologies and innovative product solutions across the Automotive Cockpit Electronics Sector. Testing is a crucial element for the development of highly complex systems. The success of a project could be achieved by minimizing the number of errors and this position will be one of the main responsible for a successful product.

Role Responsibilities 

• Working with a team of system engineers validating/qualifying for developed products,
• Developing system test strategy,

• Creating and updating test procedures and plans,

• Determining verification method for validating system requirements and architecture,

• Creating test cases according to system requirements and architecture,

• Manage test case attributes, pre-action, post-action, priority, test parameter etc.,

• Performing tests, reporting results, and tracking defects,

• Performing regression and re-tests,

• Support change/problem management,

• Support configuration management activities in systems engineering domain,

• Tracking and checking test reports taken from production company (FCT,ICT,DV,PV),

• Providing pre-analysis for reported issues,

• Testing customer reported issues and providing missing data or information to the development team,

• Supporting 3rd party test labs,

• Supporting test requests from internal stakeholders,

• Setting up test equipment and manual/automated test environments,

• Follow up Automotive SPICE standards in system engineering domain (especially SYS.4 and SYS.5 process),

Role Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) and/or Master of Science (MS) Degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (or related disciplines also acceptable),

• 3+ years of relevant experience in automotive industry project processes and documentation,

• Knowledge of automotive electronics system architecture, interfaces and communication (Cockpit electronics, head units, infotainment systems, instrument cluster, USB, BT, CAN, LIN, MOST, etc.),

• Able to specify test cases and perform test cases review/analysis,

• Understanding of system architecture,

• Understanding of system requirements,

• Understanding and performing of test norms/standards,

• Experience in Defect Management/Test Management Tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Codebeamer, Polarion, etc.),

• Familiar with software intense system development lifecycle and processes (V-Model, Automotive SPICE /ASPICE, CMMI),

• Experience in using requirement management, ALM tools (Codebeamer, Polarion, DOORS, etc.),

• Knowledge on: MFI certification (iPod, Carplay), ATS tool, Android Auto certification, FM/AM/DAB RF performance testing, Audio performance testing, Bluetooth RF-PHY, Bluetooth PTS (profiles), USB-IF certification, EMC tests,

• Experience on HIL systems is a plus,

• ISTQB certificate is a plus,

• Have a positive attitude, good oral and written communication skills, able to work well in a team environment and be eager to work,
