DEG is seeking a Project Architect to join us to execute unique, exciting, and challenging projects. We have growth opportunities for a highly driven architect with a strong capacity to work collaboratively, yet independently, in a fast-paced environment.

As an experienced architect, you will develop innovative designs in a supportive, collaborative environment while working on all project phases, from programming and schematic design through construction administration. Applicants must be highly motivated and exhibit a passion for design, creativity, technical strength, and exceptional graphic communication skills.

This role will take responsibility for assisting the project’s development through each design phase, from the concept to completion during its partnership with the studio. You will play a key part in the projects team supporting the needs and requirements of the director. Candidate must have great knowledge of Revit as one of the main responsibilities. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and 3D Studio Max are highly desired.

Candidates must be based in İstanbul and expect to work out of our Şirinevler studio / İstanbul. This is not a remote position.

Main tasks and responsibilities include the following:

·        able to lead a project from concept to completion

·        producing design drawings and tender packages using AutoCAD

·        producing and reviewing detailed joinery drawings

·        reviewing  and approving shop drawings

·        designing custom furniture/products and producing detailed drawings

·        effectively communicate design ideas and approaches using a variety of techniques

·        rendering skills using 3D Studio Max is a plus

·        producing client presentations using Adobe Indesign

·        having oversight of projects for public and/or private sector clients, on generative structures & on floating structures

·        working with designers at the earliest stages of a project to develop –the concept and produce high-quality final images and visuals for planning/marketing/client approval

·        involvement in the preparation of client concept presentations

·        working under pressure and to tight deadlines while being overseen by the director

·        must have a positive, yes attitude

·        must have an excellent eye for detail

·        will be in charge of preparing and managing project budgets

·        will be responsible for bidding and awarding projects

·        must have great problem-solving skills

·        must have great negotiation skills with suppliers and contractors

·        must have excellent written and spoken English
