Our Çerkezköy site employs around 3000 people, manufacturing a portfolio of hose products. 

Job Description

This position will work closely with Production, Quality, OPEX, Production Engineering, and Product Engineering to solve overall quality related problems. Focusing on CONC (warranty and scrap), process methodology improvement for better quality, customer claim issues, preventive projects for process excellence, kaizen activities, and managing quality control operators will be the main focus of their duties.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilizes sound Quality Engineering background to create, apply, and document quality activities to reduce internal scraps and possible customer claims. 
• Supports the Production Engineering team for both current production and new introduction in terms of process control points, parameters, and related FMEA revisions. 
• Manages quality control operators and applies Kaizen activities to eliminate recorded process quality failures.
• Handles customer claims to improve quality.
• Works with a focus on organizational structure that supports the High5 metrics.
• Is responsible for quality initiatives to improve quality performance of the production.
• Makes focusing on quality in their daily work a high priority and acts as a role model for the team.
• Coordinates plant quality initiatives within hydraulic organizations.
• Leads production operators as much as quality operators by trainings, problem solving sessions, etc. in order to prevent scraps or customer claims.
• Supports cross-functional teams in development and deployment of consistent quality related policies, processes, and procedures per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Actively supports cost-out projects, Six Sigma GB or BB  

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent appropriate experience
• Minimum 5 years of Quality experience in relevant industries
• Technical knowledge of the following areas: 8D problem solving, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP, SPC, PDCA, 6 Sigma, Lean manufacturing, 5S, ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Knowledge 
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Fluent in English
