Water Resources Executive

Danone Turkey is looking for a talented colleague for the "Water Resources Executive" position within the Water Resources department. Take this opportunity to drive Danone Water Policy to support 2030 goals of Danone! In the context of the job, position holder reports to Head of Water Resources.

In this role you will / will be:

• Ensure long-term water supply (Quantity / Quality) according to the CBU business strategies
• Set up the most appropriate water resource organization including training and succession planning at the zone and factory levels for cross-contributors to water resources
• Ensure that each factory water resource operation (monitoring, protection, maintenance) is made according to the Danone guidelines
• Assuring regulatory compliance and fostering a good relationship with local communities and authorities
• Validate processes, layouts and action plan for any troubleshooting
• Plan, execute, and supervise field programs for feasibility and groundwater studies, permitting support and technical reporting
• Supervision of field operations such as drilling, sampling, and measurement of physical and chemical parameters
• Field data review, analysis, and interpretation of water quality studies and assessment of hydrogeochemistry, aquifer pumping, and recovery test data with the support of the Danone Global team
• Make site visits, prepare and write technical reports, and contribute to preparing scope and presentations as necessary
• Understanding of the regulatory framework and tracking the compliance of water resources with the local laws

To be able to successful in the role, you need to have / be:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental, geology/hydrogeology, or water-related programs
• Min. 3 years experience
• Geographical Informational Systems (GIS) applications fluency preferred
• Good networking with educational bodies, specialized industries, and relevant administrations
• Leadership and team-building abilities (project management - multidisciplinary internal and external scientist experts team)
• Autonomous, practical approach
• Fluent in English
• Ready for domestic travels
• Able or willing to locate in Istanbul
