Export Operations Executive

As an industry leading Turkish company, Dardanel Group of Companies is engaged in the production and marketing of canned tuna and other canned fish, frozen seafood, fish flour, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, frozen pastry, frozen ready-made food products and pet food since 1984 in Turkey, we seek for an "Export & Logistic Operations Executive" to be employed in the headquarters of our company located in Sarıyer.

Short job definition related to the position and the qualifications which must be met by successful candidates are as the following:

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

·   Bachelor's Degree in related fields,

·    Minimum 7 years of experience in export, customs and foreign trade operations,

·    Having knowledge and experience about letter of credit procedures,

·    Experienced in foreign trade procedures and legislation (transport, customs procedures, payment, delivery methods)

·     Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office,

·     Excellent command of English,

·     Having ability of analytical thinking and strong communication skills,

·     Having no restriction to travel,

·     Male candidates must have completed military service,

·     Willingness and ability to reside İstanbul,

JOB DEFINITION

·      To issue foreign trade documents according to national requirements and inspect their compliance according to customs legislation,

·      To carry out customs and logistics activities related to export,

·      To follow-up and send the bills of lading and other shipping documents to customers,

·      To monitor the export proceeds according to their respective payment method within the framework of the payment terms and foreign exchange legislation,

·      To support process improvement studies,

·      To follow-up Eximbank limits, shipping insurance, bills of lading,

·      To fulfill letter of credit procedures,

·      Archiving and following-up of the files,
