Job Summary

Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing Corporate accounts, including FIT as well as group related opportunities with significant revenue potential. Manages group opportunities. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Verifies business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer/guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer/guest experience. Provides service to customers in order to grow the account on behalf of the company.

Job Description

  • The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for key account management and business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing individual corporate accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan.
  • The Executive will ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls in the assigned territories, prospecting calls, site inspections and fam trips.
  • Perform customer site inspections.
  • Conduct sales calls to the assigned territories to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships.
  • Must possess solid selling and interpersonal skills and who demonstrate the energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goals.
  • Proven track record in pursuing, evaluating, soliciting, selling and confirming business as required in order to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
  • Active networking and prospecting new accounts to meet Hotel objectives required.
  • Maximizes revenue by upselling room packages.
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Closes the best opportunities for each property based on market conditions and individual property needs.
  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
  • Provides excellent customer service in order to grow share of the account.
  • Executes brand’s Customer Service Standards and property’s Brand Standards.
  • Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., , Market Sales, Strategic Accounts) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Uses sales resources and administrative/support staff.
  • Utilizes intranet for resources and information.
  • Conducts site inspections.
  • Creates contracts as required.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)

    Required Skills

  • At least 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Tourism Management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
  • Total Account Management experience.
  • Hospitality sales experience.
  • Opera and Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent Engilish communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Turkish language, written and spoken.
  • Ability to focus attention on details and to handle multiple tasks
  • Result driven, proactive and reliable personalityKnowledge of Opera is advantageous
