As Turkey's most successful "Home Textiles & Decoration Products" brand in Retail Sector with its 248 stores in Turkey and 45 stores abroad, which is aiming to become a global brand abroad, we are looking for a “Logistics Manager” who will be located in our DC’s in Gebze, Kocaeli.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 

• University Graduate preferably in engineering,
• Very good command of English in written and spoken,
• 10 years experience in logistics operations (warehousing, domestic distribution and e commerce) ; 5 years experience in managing logistics operations’ Teams,
• Experience in defining and creating As IS to Be Processes,

Competencies,

• Creating high performing teams,
• Developing Subordination
  
• Result-orientation
• Nebim or other ERP usage experience, Competency in MS Office,
• Project management
• System integration (Purchase Order, Sales Order, stock transactions) experience
• Kaizen, Lean 6 Sigma and continuous improvement experience is plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To establish and improve 3PL workflow system integration (writing business analysis and explaining to IT department for software improvement) to secure Master Data, Goods Acceptance, Order Picking and Stock Accuracy.
• To manage supplier relations, pooling potential suppliers, concluding service contracts in compliance with company policies.
• To perform As is To be analysis, establishing operational work flows, leading formation of Standard Operating Procedures
• To prepare Logistics department budget and taking actions against deviations.
• To coordinate annual warehouse stock take and achieve “zero” discrepancy target.
• To set and to monitor department KPI’s to achieve cost and speed targets.
• To ensure that Logistics Operations are fully compliant in terms of regulations and Health , Safety and Environment.
• To establish visibility reports (cost,quality,compliance and speed) and coordinate it with IT department.
• To propose and implement Kaizen and  Continuous Improvement Projects to optimise cost and remove waste in logistics operations.
