Full-Stack Developer (.Net)

Dekopasaj is a second hand furniture marketplace based out of Istanbul. It launched in Jan 2015 and it is an end-to- end solution for buyers and sellers, leveraging marketplace and consignment models. We provide logistics, payment, curation, consignment services. Take rate differs based on selling method between 25% and 50% (consigned furniture)

You will

• Be in a great development environment
• Take responsibility of back-end, api, and front-end of dekopasaj web site
• Develop our APIs
• Work closely with CTO 
• Contribute in designing architecture 
• A player of a team using Kanban and Scrum (We are a fan of the Agile mindset) 
• Analyze and debug problems
• Contribute in documenting and analyzing existing code base
• etc..

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience .NET development
• Strong experience in C#, .NET, MVC, Web API, Rest, Entity Framework, Razor
• Hands on experience working with MS-SQL Database
• MS-SQL Database management skills 
• Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL required and Query Optimization experience is a big plus 
• Strong knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns 
• Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript for front-end development 
• Experience in jQuery is required 
• Experience in Bootstrap is required 
• Hands on experience of Elasticsearch 
• Experience in Redis 
• Experience in writing Unit Tests 
• Knowledge of Database Normalization 
• Experience in Refactoring 
• Excellent Debugging skills required 
• Experience in designing good Restful APIs 
• Hands-on experience in Vue.js or ability to work later on 
• Experience in RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka or similar Message Broker systems is a big plus 
• Experience in IIS Management 
• Knowledge of Scrum and/or Kanban is a plus
• Must be a DOer with positive mood 
• Eager to learn 
• Must be a team player, should adapt to technology culture in company 
• Being a team player with Agile mindset is a big plus 

Bonus (Preffered Skills)

• Experience in using Microsoft Azure services (Virtual Machines, SQL Databases, Load Balancers, etc…) 
• Experience in using Octopus 
• Back-end development with any node.js stack 
• Full-Text search implementation knowledge
• Knowledge of Request Tracing, Call Tracing, Monitoring and/or having general DevOps culture 
• Work experience in highly scalable projects is a big plus
