DELTA KOZMETİK, which was established in 1953 and exports to USA, manufactures personal care, baby care and household cleaning products in it’s own production facilities of 28.000 m2 in Istanbul Industry and Trade Free Zone / Tuzla.

We are looking for competent candidates for our constantly developing and growing company to work as a “Foreing Trade Operations & Logistics Chief” in our Tuzla plant.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Economics or related disciplines,
• A total of 5 years of work experience, of which 2 years is a manager and 3 years of Free Zone export, import, shipping and logistics processes experience,
• Having knowledge of Import & Export and Customs clearance regulations,
• Preferably good command of written and spoken English,
• Strong experience in MS Office applications,
• Result oriented and having problem-solving skills
• Being a team player with strong communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To prepare the documents related with the Import and Export operations carried out in the Free Zone, to carry out the invoice, paperwork and similar documentation process related to the operation,
• To initiate, follow up and finalize logistics, import and export transactions.
• To plan the foreign trade and logistics processes from the order stage to the delivery stage,
• To follow foreign trade, customs and free zone laws and regulations,
• To export the samples to be sent abroad according to the needs of the customer and/or other departments,
• To organize all kinds of import transactions of raw materials and other materials purchased from the domestic&abroad and ensuring the entry into the Free Zone,
• To make and follow the Chamber of Commerce&Industry and Customs certifications of export documents,
• To prepare monthly import and export costs and to reconcile with cost accounting,
• To check and make sure that all invoices, import files and expenses of which customs procedures are completed,
• To arrange and negotiate transportation and handling costs as well as space and equipment availability for sea freight operations with shipping lines and control the shipment schedule,
• To make insurance transactions of the goods and to follow up from shipping to delivery,
• To open files for all entry transactions, requesting proforma invoices from suppliers, preparing Free Zone Transaction Form by determining HS codes,
• To make and check the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Customs certifications of export documents,
• To ensure that customs officers are brought to the control area and transactions are carried out in the controls made by the customs or in cases where expertise is required,
• To receive freight offers on the most favorable terms from carriers for regular and spot shipments and to negotiate,
• To prepare the necessary shipping documents related to international sea transportation and reservations and to forward to the agents (HBL, MBL, Shipping Instructions).
