QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Skills / Education
Bachelor Degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering
System Administration / System Engineer Certification is an asset (Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco etc..)
At least 3 year experience
Knowledge on server, storage (SAN,NAS) and cloud technologies.
Knowledge on virtual (VMWare), physical systems and partitioning
Experienced on MS Active Directory systems
Experienced on network, security systems and active devices (DMZ topologies, Firewall/Proxy Systems, Corporate Policies, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate etc systems experiences)
Having knowledge on cabling, local and wide networking technologies
Knowledge on Oracle and/or MS SQL Administration is preferred
Having knowledge on ITIL is preferred
The System Administrator will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and whole infrastructure.
Installing new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures.
Contributing to and maintaining system standards.
Researching and recommending innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identifing approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
