QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Demonstrable experience in leading projects to successful conclusions. (agile or waterfall-based methods)
- Relevant experience working in the Financial Services industry is a plus .
- Proven ability to effectively assess and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Experienced in effectively communicating with and positively influencing project stakeholders and team members.
- You will also need expertise in contract and vendor management as well as the ability to handle substantial budgets and the capacity to perform multiple tasks under pressure.
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma / work experience).
- Certifications relating to project management ( Prince and/or PMI PMP ) be a decided advantage, underpinned by excellent problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter by nature, you will combine flexibility with strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken) and complemented by a knowledge of Turkish.
- Creative and analytical.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Highly motivated to work in a challenging environment.
- Strong in collaborating with application development (onshore and offshore)-, production- and business- people.
İŞ TANIMI
The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the delivery of agreed project outputs to the agreed time, cost and quality parameters within the agreed scope. The Project Manager will manage and co-ordinate the activity of specialists, technicians and analysts to ensure that tasks are performed that result in the project deliverable.
Key Accountabilities - End-to-end accountability and responsibility for the management of projects from business analysis till delivery in production.
- Interface to Service Providers
- Manage delivery within scope, quality, time and budget at the defined quality.
- Defines and establishes appropriate governance structures and processes to drive and manage the projects.
- Ensures that appropriate meetings are held and that outputs and artifacts are produced and distributed. Chairs the relevant meetings.
- Ensure ongoing commitment of all stakeholders.
- Establish, perform and control the processes to plan, track and correct the activities, quality, timelines, critical paths, risks, issues and required resources.
- Analyses and identifies possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate.
- Ensure successful transition to production/steady-state environment.
- Ensure that applicable principles, policies, standards and guidelines are being applied.
- Ensure involvement of development and operational teams in the definition of future systems along the project before the Go-Live in production.
- Understands both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods and adheres to their standards.
