Qualifications 

• Preferably bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, International Logistics or related fields. 
• Minimum 2 years experience 
•  Experience in automotive industry is an asset 
•  Having knowladge on logistics processes is a plus 
•  Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
•  Very good command of Microsoft Excel. 
•  Having knowladge on VB , Excel macro is strong asset. 
•  Strong organization and planning skills, 
•  Willing to work cooperatively as a team member. 
•  Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
•  Customer oriented. 
•  No military obligation.  

Job Description 

DHL SUPPLY CHAIN is providing supply chain management and consulting like warehousing, distribution, managed transportation services and value added services in consumer, retail, life science & healthcare, technology, engineering & manufacturing and automotive sectors. We are active in more than 60 countries and territories, employing around 120,000 people. DHL Supply Chain located in 2400 locations all over the world and manages approx. 23 million square meter storage area. LLP (Lead Logistics Provider) Department has been working as a partner with our customers to develop and improve their inbound and outbound logistics for their manufacturing plants and finished product market distribution. We are looking for a PLANNING SPECIALIST to join our team based in Istanbul. 

• Following up daily LTL and FTL shipments from suppliers in Europe and Oversea. 
• Providing the parts to production lines in time without any production loss. 
• Deciding MOT (mode of transportation) in short-term and long term by optimizing budget cost. 
• Optimizing the stock levels based on raw material logistics. 
•  Contacting suppliers daily via e-mail and phone to agree shipment details. 
•  Managing material flow during contingency or disaster periods, creating alternative flow plans to feed production according to JIT principles 
• Managing and monitoring Europe Distrubution Centers.
•  Preparing monthly and weekly supporting plan for Spare Part Location's Requirements. 
• Making risk and root cause analysis for all supply chain processes and establishing of precautions and emergency plans. 
• Supporting daily , weekly and monthly reports.
