Qualifications: 

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant education and work experience

•Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in supply chain / logistics or other fast-paced sectors

•Gaining new customers for DHL by analyzing the potentials of the sectors

•Ability to work and manage a team independently in a complex environment, set the right priorities and motivate self and others

•Advanced level in both written and spoken English

•No military obligation for male candidates

•An excellent degree of computer literacy in regards to Excel & Access.

•Working knowledge of network design tools, CAST, CLASS (Desirable). 

•Skilled in building presentations (Powerpoint),consolidating and visualising solution design outputs that will tell a clear and understandablestory. 

•Good communication and listening skills, and effective in communicating ideas. Frequently required to present to Customer X’s senior management teams in technical and non-technicalterms. 

•Project management & facilitation skills (workshops, due diligence, voice of the customer).

Job Description

This role reports within the organisation of Baker Hughes a GE Company (BHGE). The primary purpose of the role is to lead and take ownership of solutions design activities in LLP transformational pursuits for BHGE, this will involve focusing on transport network optimisation initiatives, engaging with customer peer teams and developing compelling “solution fit” proposals for BHGE.

The job holder will support the Programme Manager by taking lead responsibility for the design, planning and delivery of E2E supply chain solutions which aim to be highly competitive and drive transformational change in the customer's supply chain, whilst at the same time working with the broader team to ensure these are operationally deliverable.

The role has key responsibilities for the design, costing and optimization of the following supply chain aspects;

• Logistics strategy

• Supply chain analysis, modelling, including strategic networks, facilitiescentre of gravity (warehouses, cross-docks & manufacturing logistics).

• Supply chain processes design and re-engineering

• Sustainable supply chain development (e.g. carbon footprint and multi-modal optimization) 

With specific lead responsibility for the design and optimization of innovative, unique and implementable supply chain solutions and tools within this particular sector ME Oil & Gas - Engineering & Manufacturing.
