JOB DESCRIPTION

Floor Manager is responsible for performing all the activities in studio, pitch, court or any event area in order to provide a proper environment by ensuring the elements are ready concerning audio/visual, decoration, positioning etc. for the broadcast.

• Coordinating on floor activities by contacting the different departments and people (editors, directors, production managers, technical departments etc.) in advance to the show
• Planning the activities
• Checking the functionalities of the facilities and report to management immediately in case of any emergency
• Checking the environmental conditions (temperature, AC, cleanliness) of the studios and maintain a suitable environment
• Ensuring that everything is on correct place as decoration, accessorizes, equipment, crew etc. in studios/floor, taking immediate action to correct misplacements and following the production plan procedures
• Ensuring the reji, sound technicians, camera operators and directors do the tests before the show
• Communicating with the director during the entire program, informing them and receiving directives
• Ensuring the safety of the show by controlling entrance of the floor
• Directing the presenter and guests entering, staying and going out of the stage correctly
• Verifying the equipment and accessories are in good condition, performing regular controls
• Verifying that everything is packed correctly after the show finishes in the studio

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree from related departments
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar positions
• Sports knowledge (especially football)
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills in English
• Presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office programmes
• Team player, proactive and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Being detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem solving skills
