QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or similar educational backgrounds and/or MBA preferable
- 5+ years of proven work experience as a both UI/UX Designer or similar role that centred on creating coherent customer experiences, interaction designs and user interfaces
- A solid understanding of the design and product development processes
- Deep understanding of user centred design process from need finding to usability testing and user research methods
- Experience in analyzing, wire-framing, prototyping and concept design
- Proficiency in visual design tools Sketch, Figma, Invision and Adobe
- At least basic level experience in button animations and page transition animations
- Solid understanding of responsive web design and mobile application design guidelines, to ensure that the designs can be developed by front-end developers.
- Proficiency in Zeplin or similar hand-off tools
- Ability to learn and analyse new technology, that can be integrated into new business initiative
- Experience in Cross-platform designs (both web and mobile)
- Good communicator, curious, flexible, empathetic to the user, team-sprit, good time-management skills
JOB DECRIPTION
We are looking a new member for our User Interface and User Experience Design team which will be responsible for designing best-in-class user-interfaces and experiences across the full digital landscape through user-centred design, data analysis and creativity to delight users and drive engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Research, explore, and understand opportunities within the current digital experience to drive initiatives to deliver a seamless consumer experience
- Conduct ongoing usability research and testing to gauge effectiveness.
- Leverage market data and web analytics to make recommendations and improvements based on those results.
- Produce wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, working prototypes and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design visually compelling / esthetically pleasing, user friendly and efficient user interfaces and interface elements ( e.g. menus, tabs and widgets) and create the design documents, libraries
- Work closely with technical teams on implementation ensure brand guidelines and visual standards across all platforms and channels represented well.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, continually look for ways to improve the UX
- Follow the design trends and be notified of iOS and android design guide lines.
- Communicate with product and technical teams, as well as business stakeholders
