Senior Software Test Engineer

As Dinamik Teknoloji, we are looking for a “Senior Software Test Engineer” for our newly formed software team, which is located in Gebze Teknopark. You will be working on our biggest automotive aftermarket B2B systems renewal project in Turkey, especially the global B2B project.

We work in agile teams and in this role, you will be a part of our frontend and backend team. You will work very closely with UI / UX Design and Backend teams with the goal of building components and implementing features. Teams have the freedom to choose their own methodology between Scrum and Kanban as long as they can establish improvement in each cycle. We have product owners in charge of the product backlog and we value improvements in small increments rather than large batches.

Responsibilities:

• Taking part in the analysis phase of requests and projects, creating test scenarios according to the analysis document and revealing the opportunities for improvement / change in the analysis, if any,
• Running test scenarios and performing regression tests,
• Supporting the studies on user acceptance tests,
• Using test automation tools when necessary,
• Error tracking and reporting,
• Performing test results’ reports and documentation,
• Preparation, follow-up and coordination of project test plans,
• Checking the compliance of the documents prepared in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes with the standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from Electronic Engineering departments of universities,
• At least 4 years of experience,
• Have knowledge of preparation of software test plans, strategies, scenarios,
• Preferably able to use software test management tools,
• Preferably experienced in software test automation development tools,
• Planned, organized and working with documentation,
• Advanced analytical skills, able to think results-oriented and analytically,
• Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills,
• Responsible, adaptable to deadlines, innovative, willing to learn and open to continuous improvement, following current technologies, easily adaptable to new projects and technologies,
• Prone to teamwork,
• Having enough knowledge of English to follow the literature,
• Preferably with experience in tools used in Test Automation development processes (with knowledge of Java, Selenium and OOP)
• Experience in load and performance testing. (Has knowledge of Performance Testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, etc.)
• Experience in bug tracking and reporting tools (Jira, TestRail)
• Preferably with ISTQB certification
• Preferably with E-Commerce experience
• Preferably with Mobile APP experience
