QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

 • Bachelor’s Degree from an Industrial Engineering 

 • Min 2-3 years overall experience in Demand planning/Supply chain in FMCG 

 • Experience of customer management 

 • Skilled in sales&communication competencies (understanding the customer, planning, analyzing and negotiating, follow up), 

 • Fluency in both written and spoken English 

 • Strong communication skills 

 • Great cross-functional management skills, team player, flexible and result-oriented 

 • Proactivity and strategic thinking, 

 • Attention to details 

 • Data analysis, interpretation and reporting 

 • Good analytical skills 

• High level of cultural and learning agility 

 • Strong Project Management skills 

 • Knowledge of category management methodology 

 • Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office & statistical systems 

 • Business and financial awareness 

 • Visit Accounts, Customers  

 • Location will be in Ankara 


JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a Demand Planning & Customer Service Specialist, you will be expected to sit in the middle of the S&OP Process where you will work closely with sales, marketing, finance & supply chain teams and also customers to build an integrated volume plan for future, manage short, mid & long term forecasting of the business and support operations with customer service. In the context of your job, you will report to Supply Chain Planning Manager. 

• Generation of volume and value forecasting through executing the demand planning components of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process

 • Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities, and clean the sales data and build base forecast while keeping track of sales and marketing activity logs

 • Understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons using exception based planning. 

• Report, analyze and deliver KPI´s (Forecast accuracy)

 • Highlight gaps in demand plan, take actions for gap-closing and make sure that necessary actions are taken by related stakeholders 

• Healthy portfolio Management - make de-listing proposals for non-performing products 

• Working on cross functional projects with strong communication skills. Lead cross-functional teams to drive effective decision making, collaboration, business and professional growth 

 • Listen to Customers’ Questions and Concerns, and Provide Answers or Responses 

• Handling analysing orders that come through customer portal,mails and supply correct products in requested delivery date 

• Cooperating with Sales team about orders (priorities, allocation etc.)

• Cooperating with Logistics department for order and return management. 

• Checking customers warehouse stocks in order to increase order fill rate and ease route planning 

• Informing customer about delivery dates and order fill rate 

• Tracking customer basis Order Fill Rate, Case Fill Rate, On Time Delivery, Return rates 

• Organizing customer visits periodically.
