QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Doğuş Hospitality Group operates in the D-Hotels and Resorts, Travel Management / MICE (ANTUR), Food & Beverage (d.ream) and Retail industries.

We are looking for Assistant Marketing Manager who must have;

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related field is strongly desired but not necessary
  • 2-5 years related experience marketing, advertising or public relations, preferably in an upscale hotel
  • Ability to write and speak fluently, effectively, mistake free and creatively in Turkish and English.
  • Additional language ability preferred
  • Should have a knowledge of food and beverage, and marketing management experience, guest relations
  • Knowledge of Computer systems such as: Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook    
  • Possess a gracious, friendly and kind demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
  • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
  • Excellent attention to details, creative and innovative. 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing tactics, partnerships, events supporting the hotel.
  • Manage annual marketing plan and calendar of events which drive existing and additional business into low & shoulder seasons while improving the guest experience during peak seasons
  • Manage and Create a content feed and pro active approach for the website, social media platforms & email communications
  • Plan and communicate marketing plans and activities with PR and Sales representative companies as well as with travel agencies
  • Support PR, social media and digital media plans
  • Perform other duties appointed necessary by management to support the hotels sales and work flow
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear messages to the hotel’s team and to partners
  • Communicate with employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
  • Monitoring competition and travel related sources like TripAdvisor, etc
  • Conducting individual press and group press trips
  • Creating promotions and marketing activities and campaigns in line with hotel’s sales needs.
