We are looking for colleagues to serve as the "Sales Director" for our five-star Doubletree By Hilton Istanbul-Avcılar Hotel located in Istanbul Avcılar Region.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or hotel management
• To ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
• Fluent writing, reading, and speaking in English
• At least 5 years' experience as a sales leader, with prior hotel sales experience
• Well rounded knowledge of all market segments and channel sources, as well as ability to develop a strategic plan for each 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems
• Able to develop and mentor Sales Team
• High energy level, self-motivated, articulate and presentable
• Solid hotel industry work experience and demonstrating pattern of exceptional performance.
• To establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices, confirming by written contracts
• To work closely with Front Office to ensure all details of the contract were delivered and guests depart satisfied
• To follow departmental policies and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement sales strategies for maximising revenues
• Assesses & reacts to market trends, market share & the competitive hotel environment
• Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required
• Developing sales goals and strategies and verifies alignment with the brand business strategy
• Executing the sales strategy in order to meet individual booking goals for both self and staff
• Organize and accompany familiarization site inspection trips of the hotel by major clients
• Plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to key existing market areas and identify new potential market areas
