QUALIFICATIONS 

• Able to work in Yarımca
• Fluence in both Turkish and English
• Degree in Engineering
• Minimal 5 years experience in a specific HSSE role
• Minimum C class Safety Certificate (Mandatory)
• Experience in port industry will be asset
• NEBOSH International Certificated is an asset
• Familiar with JSA (Job Safety Analysis), Hazard and Risk analysis;
• Capability of enforcing the HSSE rules in company.
• Good interpersonal skills with different levels of employees;
• An effective team player;
• Proactively support and monitor the HSSE processes

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Follow the national and international HSSE laws, standards and regulations and implement the new requirements or changes accordingly
• Provide support to the dept. on the implementation of Company-wide HSSE initiatives eg. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc;
• Provide support to Operation and Technical team in all aspects of HSSE issues;
• Develop, assist and conduct HSSE trainings for all levels of personnel.
• Collect HSSE statistics and issue Performance Statistics as needed for company reports.
• Visits all areas of the terminal to observe all potentially dangerous working conditions and give advise to reduce the risk.
• Conduct regular HSSE Inspection/Audits and SOCs (Safety Observations and Conversations).
• Attend toolbox talks on a regular basis at various locations and ensure that they are being conducted in a professional and capable manner
• Manage the issues related to dangerous goods in the terminal with the Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor.
• Conduct accident, incident/near miss investigation.
• Attend and Manage Contractor Subcommittee meeting.
• Review Contractor HSSE Plan monitor and ensure implementation of the approved HSSE plan.
• Encourage Contractors, Customers and Custom Brokers to adopt Company HSSE Standards.
• Evaluate the Contractor about HSSE performance on an ongoing basis. Make recommendations for improvement to the Contractor and Company Team Leaders as needed.
• Auditing contractors' HSSE files to determine whether their contract requirements have been fulfilled.
• Ensure terminal is HSSE compliant with Company policies and HSSE standards.
