Business Development Officer E-Commerce

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Onboarding of users on the platform (Sellers/Vendors), ownership of end to end process – lead generation to conversion.
• Keep track of any new user registrations and follow up with the relevant users
• Gather feedback from end users to improve and develop our services
• Follow up on payment & order fulfilment using the back-end system & ensure full execution of transactions & payments to/from customers.
• Monitor customer acquisition, sales & revenue of vendors
• Compile and analyse performance metrics to assess placements effectiveness and to identify new opportunities with vendors
• Support with preparing the relevant presentations and documentation
• identify customer needs and recommend improvements Enrich the platform with vendors, product categories and products to meet the business objectives.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's in sales, marketing or communications and/or related fields or equivalent.
• Knowledge of different revenue models.
• Ability to work effectively within fast paced, diverse cross functional teams
• Excellent analytical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team oriented, collaborative and able to effectively contribute to multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and meet demanding timelines
• Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a passion for driving process improvement.
• Experience presenting to Senior Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant sales & marketing qualifications or experience with focus on commercial account management.
• Experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing.
• Experience in retail.
• Operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis.
• Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce usability.
• Proficient with Microsoft office Applications, MS Access and others.
• Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Google Analytics tools for websites
