QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering or similar.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in engineering & maintenance.
• Relevant experience in electrics, electronics, communication, hydraulics, and mechanics.
• Sensitive to occupational safety, employee health, environment, and sustainability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
• Hands-on experience in AC/DC drives, PLC programming (ABB and Siemens preferred), HMI, and control & automation technologies in general.
• Relevant experience in industrial communication systems.
• Solid knowledge of reliability engineering applications and methodology.
• Ability to manage several projects at same time.
• Strong understanding of the concept and applications of asset management.
• Very good command of written & spoken English.
• Good level of knowledge on MS Office applications.
• No restriction for travelling.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage and report all type of maintenance activities regarding assets (quay cranes, rubber tired gantry cranes and relevant equipment).

• Defining and implementation of maintenance tasks.
• Prepare and follow-up relevant OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Optimize and enhance performance of the equipment, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Applying reliability program according to company global procedures, make sure meeting the company regional and global targets.
• Ensure crane remote function and communication systems are up & running as required.
• Ensure all system software are all up & running, and software backups are stored according to schedule.
• Optimize and improve PM work plans.
• Ensure that all team and contractual works operate in accordance with company HSE policies, as well as local legislation.
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks.
• Manage spare parts and purchase requisitions.
• Follow-up and manage all subjects with suppliers regarding warranty claims, schedule all relevant site activities and meetings.
• Develop solutions to enhance team, equipment performance & safety, project planning for revisions and upgrades.
• Ensure the team receives regulatory and skill developing trainings as per corporate, technical, and compulsory requirements.
• Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering activities.
• Participate into company global lean program and follow-up relevant lean activities, make sure meeting the targets.
• Resolve chronic problems and conduct necessary improvements.
• Provide leadership in the engineering function to ensure the resources work together to exceed in all applicable functional and business targets.
• Maintain a close relationship with all departments, ensure all assets and equipment are capable and resourced to deliver as required.
• Ensure SOPs are documented for all department activities.
