We are seeking for a high potential candidate to be evaluated in our Tax Department with the following qualifications;

• Excellent command of English in both speaking and writing to effectively communicate with global teams and multinational clients,
• Minimum 8 years and above work experience in tax practice,
• Technical knowledge and experience about the application and interpretation of Double Tax Treaties,
• Ability to lead and motivate team,
• Ability to take initiatives,
• Proactive approach,
• Strong commitment, result-orientation and timeliness,
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Roles & Responsibilities;

• Develops knowledge of current tax legislation across the Global Tax function.
• Has the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the clients.
• Collects, assimilates, and analyzes data and uses standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions in Tax business.
• Providing solutions in response to the tax queries of multinational clients operating in different industries under tight deadlines.
• Follow up with the legislative changes and what impact these changes may introduce to the businesses of our clients.
• Conducts research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions in which clients operate.
• Researches and prepares draft client reports and opinion letters under the guidance of senior staff and project management.
• Provides training for the team.
• Prepares the team for the client meetings, update the upper management and do the follow up work and ensure that the work/analysis is delivered as promised to the client.
• Establishes good relationships with the clients.
• Works closely with other Deloitte member firms to lead the work for multinational clients.
• Review documents for potential tax implications.
• Draft advance tax ruling petitions and applications for our multinational clients.
• Builds own understanding of our purpose and values; explores opportunities for impact.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador and a good role model to help attract top talent.
• Understands expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on track.

• SMMM certificate is an asset.
