Key Accountabilities:
- Provide varied administration support to teams across all operational businesses (Road, Air, Sea and Project teams).
- Accurately index and upload documents to claims recording system x-net, process claims according to relevant claims type
- Allocate cost and income to correct files and provide payment/authorisation of fees on a daily basis to ensure service standards are met.
- Complete all assigned admin work accurately (review benefits, shared liability, limitation and deductible) within service standards so that business needs are met.
- Provide a professional call handling service in relation to our branch offices and external clients in order to provide an appropriate level of service to all customers.
- Provide and update a monthly claims risk assessment report to ensure changes are identified and claims liabilities are covered in order to protect our business from material risks.
- Keep all registrations of claims in a central repository and track and monitor all claims handlers to assure adhering to our service standards and compliance against relevant conventions (e.g. CMR)
- Accurately process claims registrations, create relevant transactions, notify the relevant claims handler and issue recourse letter to subcontractors or DSV offices.
- Chase all required information, within agreed time-scales, keeping the customer and our colleagues informed at all times to ensure all evidence is received in a timely manner.
- Ensure the continued protection of DSV’s information, by following all applicable Information Security policies and procedures and by reporting suspected weaknesses or fraud to your line manager.
- Comply with DSV’s Code of Conduct and other Company Policies and Procedures as appropriate to the role.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic product knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge of the claims admin processes
- Knowledge of in-house systems (x-net, Cargolink, CW1, SAP)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Good level of numeracy required.
- High degree of communication skills and ability to assert the company interest
- Customer Service Skills; A strong customer focused approach to working is essential.
- Experience in an administrative role within a customer service environment.
