Service Technician

Nalco Champion, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Service Technician-Energy in İzmir for our Energy Services group . If you are a passionate technical professional that likes to work in an autonomous, hands-on environment, we invite you to apply. 

What You Will Do: 

 • Assist Application Engineers with plant surveys of prospective customers 

• Assist Application Engineers with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts 

• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required

• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels 

• Support services include: Sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activities 

• Actively support Nalco Champion innovations and technology in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to Application Engineers

• Possible travel within assigned territory

• Responsible for coordination and technical troubleshooting jobs 

• Prepare the Chemical analysis and reports

• Daily maintenance and calibration of our equipment 

• Chemical controls, and consumption monitoring 

• Meet the technical demands from the enterprise 

• Visiting the customers once a week and controlling equipment’s systems. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Associates degree required (Chemical, Mechanical, Refinery/Petrochemical) 

• Must have a valid Driver’s License 

• 2+ years of technical service or field service support experience 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 • Associates degree required (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Refinery/Petrochemical) 

• 1+years of successful technical service or field service support experience 

• 1+ years of experience directly related to well service stimulation business preferred 

• Experience in oil and gas industry preferred 

• Previous Refinery/Petrochemical experience is a plus 

• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience 

• Working knowledge of Cooling tower conditioning, Boiler conditioning, Reverse Osmosis conditioning, Raw water conditioning.
