• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering and project design/implementation.
• Advanced in written and spoken English
• Being able to speak German as a second language is a plus
• Experienced in 2D/3D design programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor
• Experienced in MS Office Programs especially Excel
• Have knowledge of CAM programs (ArtCAM, Camquix) and experience
• Ability to think in 3D
• Able to produce quick solutions to problems and think results-oriented
• Good understanding of aluminum and metal tooling concepts and validation
• Competency in common software applications such as Outlook

Project Engineer Responsibilities

• Designing 2D customer drawings according to the pre-order/order confirmation from the customer
• Designing and developing correct solutions according to architectural/technical specifications from the customer
• Preparing 3D designs and making technical details for product development
• Supporting cost reduction studies
• CAM programming for CNC machines
• Carrying out studies in line with the project department goals and reporting them
• Preparing the MasterBoM(bill of materials) of the designed projects and adapting them to production
• Taking responsibility in teamwork and fulfilling these responsibilities
• Effectively communicating technical information in writing or verbally
• Assisting in the preparation of necessary documents by participating in business development studies
