We are looking for a new co-worker who will join us as Maintenance Engineer in our EGGER Gebze Plant, which produces plastic edgebanding.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably 4 years of experience in a related position
• Excellent command of spoken and written English (Interviews will be conducted in English)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
• SAP PM knowledge is an asset  
• ERP knowledge is an asset 
• Analytical thinking, effective problem identification and solution skills
• Well organized and strong commitment, able to keep up with the busy work pace
• Having sense of detail and able take initiative and responsibility
• Self-motivated and having a business mind-set and high energy
• Good communication and team work skills
• Able to work with international teams with global mind-set
• Living in Gebze, İzmit (E5) or İstanbul Anatolian Side, Service Bus 1-(İdealtepe-Cevizli-Atalar-Kartal-Sahilyolu-Pendik-E5-Gebze), Service Bus 2-(Acıbadem, E5, Gebze)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Directing and leading maintenance team
• Responsible of preventive and predictive maintenance of machines
• Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
• Responsible of routine maintenance operations, improvement of machinery and equipment
• Responsible of providing maintenance and repair of machinery, preparation and implementation of periodic maintenance plans
• Responsible of corrective actions to eliminate the mechanical failures and prevent the failure to occur
• Reporting of machine and equipment malfunctions and maintenance
• Planning spare parts stocks and creating malfunction records for keeping the operation of the system in function
• Controlling the maintenance team for complying with occupational health, safety and environmental management rules
