We are looking for a new co-worker who will join us as  Site Health & Safety Specialist  in our EGGER Gebze Plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant field of study
• Min. 2 years of professional HSE experience
• C class Safety certificate is a must
• Fluency in English
  
• Advanced communication skills, analytical thinking skills and high persuasion skills to communicate effectively with all units in the organization.

We have shuttle service (İdealtepe-Cevizli-Atalar-Kartal-Sahilyolu-Pendik-E5-EGGER), (Acıbadem-E5-EGGER), (Kartepe-İzmit-Derince-Körfez-E5-EGGER)

General responsibilities

• Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments
• Conduct incident investigations and identify root causes and corrective, preventative actions.
• Ensure risk assessment / hazard risk assessment exercises carried out on defined frequency
• Maintain and improve occupational Health, Safety standards including Work Permit Systems for site
• Provide support and promote positive change in our safety culture to continue to improve our safety performance
• Complying with the legal requirements and rules specified within the scope of the H&S management system and reporting dangerous situations and behaviors in the activities carried out
• Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent, document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.
• Interact and co-operate with all members of the organization, suppliers and customers, internal and external stakeholders; occasionally it is expected to participate special projects
• Attend toolbox talks on a regular basis at various locations and ensure that they are being conducted in a professional and capable manner.
