Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist

This role is responsible for managing all environmental-related processes in the company from start to finish and plays a very active role in OHS-related processes. S/he works in coordination with all departments in compliance with regulations and process improvements and takes an active role in these matters.

·         Conduct the entire risk analysis assessment process with the relevant departments,

·         Ensure and control the execution of activities in accordance with environmental legislation,

·         Ensure that the official correspondence, application, and periodic notification / reporting procedures required by the Environmental Management Unit are carried out,

·         Provide legally required OHS and environmental training to all employees,

·         Comply with occupational health and safety and environmental regulations, to wear all necessary safety equipment, to encourage safe working practices, to immediately correct significant dangers or to report to the appropriate employee,

·         Make the necessary follow-up on the workplace doctor and health service, to ensure coordination in the relevant processes.

·         To make the necessary field inspections regularly,

·          Managing the work permit process and preparing daily reports, ensuring the necessary coordination,

·         To prepare HSE reports and to follow up the necessary actions,

·          To carry out and follow all processes within the scope of waste management,

·          To measure, analyze and report within the scope of environmental permits,

·         To carry out the necessary environmental and OHS audits in accordance with company procedures and management systems,

·         Coordinating the environmental management in the field and making the necessary reports,

·         Taking an active role in all processes as a part of the occupational safety team,

·          To comply with the relevant procedures, instructions, and other legal requirements of all certified management systems,

·         Carrying out other departmental work to be given by the employer for the completion of the work,

·         To comply with the HSE rules and procedures, the Company's Human Resources policies and the Code of Ethics,

·         Deputizing for the Quality and HSE specialist, when necessary,

·         To take part in the implementation and certification of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, to organize exercises, to perform internal audits,

·         Organizing social responsibility projects on the environment

·         Organizing workplace hygiene measurements,

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Bachelor’s degree from Environmental Engineering Department,

·         Having C class occupational safety expertise certificate,

·         Good command of Environmental Legislations,

·         Knowledge of English,

·         Good use of MS Office programs,

·         Can drive active vehicles,

·         Strong communication skills, analytical thinking skills,
