Egis Tünel İşletmeciliği A.Ş. (ETİ) is a full subsidiary of international conglomerate,
and has been awarded for the Operation and Maintenance of the Eurasia Tunnel with a long term contract by its customer Avrasya Tüneli İşletme  İnşaat ve Yatırım A.Ş.( ATAŞ) and started its operation by the end of 2016.
 
Eurasia Tunnel is a very distinguished project of app. 6 km tunnel running under Istanbul Bosphorous combining 2 continents and located at the very heart of Istanbul. O&M responsibility of ETİ for Eurasia Tunnel together with connection roads extends up to a total of 10 km road operations including all auxiliary electromechanical equipment and civil infrastructure.

• University graduation from a related engineering discipline is a must.
• At least 15-20 years of experience with some years ofhands-on field work in the areas described under the job description with focus onautomation and electromechanical equipment.
• Sub specialties as below would be required
  • SCADA – PLC Systems – IT Network
  • Diesel Generators
  • Lighting
  • MV-LV Distribution
  • Distributed Fire Fighting Systems
  • HVAC Systems
  • Pump and Piping Systems
  • ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems) (desirable) 
• Have strong commercial mindset and general contract knowledge to understand various supply contracts as well asO&M Contract of responsibilities.
• Self-confident andself-aware, motivated to leadmaintenance operation as a standalone business with full cost fulfillment,team management,compliance perspectives.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the concepts of Quality, SafetyandEnvironment and relatedISOstandards.
• Be a team player amongst other departments.
• Strong organizational and communicationskills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Possession of a strong sense of integrity andethics through a similar professional environment in which those major values have been promoted as the top priorities.

İŞ TANIMI

• Manage, oversee all maintenance activities of Eurasia Tunnel assets including Automation/SCADA systems IT Network, ITS (Intelligent Traffic Signaling) systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil assets with best industry practices while having a passion and creative mindset for continuous improvement.
• Oversee all activities watching the Safety of Personnel and Equipment as the top priority.
• Manage end of the warranty punch items to closure.
• Oversee inventory management, manage workshop and fixed and mobile assets under ETİ responsibility.
• Plan and perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities with minimal downtime and minimal impact over the traffic flow.
• Develop and manage the department budget minimizing cost. Be responsible for cost fulfillment forecasting, regular financial reporting of the department activities.
• Manage the procurement process for the needs of the maintenance department with the support of procurement expert. Familiarity with various technical specialty vendors would be advantageous.
• Establish various short- or long-term service contracts as necessary and operate the contracts both commercially and technically so that ETI’s contractual commitments are fulfilled.
• Plan, supervise, control maintenance subcontractor works to cover certain ETI responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory environmental requirements targeting zero or minimal environmental impact.
• Deliver reports both internally and externally to our client to satisfy our contractual requirements.
• Plan and implement various upgrade and improvement projects as necessary to improve various systems’ reliability and/or efficiencies.
• Monitor the condition of Eurasia Tunnel assets using the Routine Maintenance Management System.
• Prepare contractually reimbursable works claims, defect notices, change notices and change proposals as well as additional repair work evaluations due to any damages resulting from traffic accidents.
• Be familiar with and follow-up the changes on applicable laws, legislations, codes, directives to ensure compliance of all maintenance activities during the performance as well regarding ETI’s contractual obligations.
• Plan the provision of trainings for Maintenance Team members and other ETI employees as necessary. Also promote coaching and mentoring to help personnel developments.
• Comply with HSE rules and procedures, code of ethic and integrity rules and HR policies of the company.
• Prepare related documentation and procedures for various maintenance activities and perform the updates of the O&M Manuals.
• Have a good knowledge and experience of the Work Permit systems, Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Maintenance Manager will be required to attend any emergencies outside of the working hours as necessary.
• Make sure that all the activities are well managed to the targeted quality standards. ISO standards are complied with.
