What will you do in Emlakjet?

Work as a full-time Senior / Mid-level Front-End Developer to build new features and renew an existing monolithic web application with a modern, component-based architecture. Participate in an Agile software development environment and be part of a warm and friendly team of passionate developers at our head office in İçerenköy, İstanbul.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS,
• Strong background in Javascript (OOJS, ES6/7+ is a big plus),
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns,
• Expertise in modern Javascript frameworks and libraries such as Angular.js, React, Redux (experience with React/Redux is a big plus),
• Solid understanding of asynchrony, and concurrency control constructs such as Promises,
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, SASS/SCSS or LESS,
• Experience with bundlers and task runners such as Grunt, Gulp, and Webpack,
• Knowledge of NPM,
• Experience in developing cross-platform single-page applications,
• Keenness and care to achieve pixel-perfection,
• Experience in version control systems such as Git,
• Ability to interface with business stakeholders and understand their priorities,
• Authorization to work in Turkey.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of focused, hands-on development experience,
• A self-motivated, team player mindset,
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, and a willingness for self-improvement,
• A good command of written and spoken English,
• Male candidates should have no military obligation or have it postponed for at least 2 years.  
  
  

Pluses

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related departments (BSc. or MSc.),
• Familiarity with concepts such as PWA and AMP,
• Substantial contribution in open-source projects,
• Experience in NodeJS,
• Knowledge in cutting-edge technologies such as WebRTC,
• Experience in plug-in development for Babel, Webpack or similar tools,
• Experience in CSS3 techniques such as flexbox and calc(),
• Experience in Agile software development principles such as TDD, BDD, pair-programming, and CI/CD,
• Experience in software testing methods such as unit, integration and functional tests.
