 General Qualifications:

• Minimum University degree in electrical engineering or electrical and electronics engineering
• Minimum 5 years of professional experiencepreferably in Wind Energy, Electrical, Marine & Offshore, Rail or Heavy Engineering Industries
• Shall ensure very high standards in compliance, Integrity and ethics
• Experience preferably in Wind Energy, Electrical, Marine & Offshore, Rail or Heavy Engineering Industries
• Experience in Mechanical/ Electrical equipment & parts-Castings, Forgings, Machined parts & components, Switchgear, Transformers, cable and spares/Composite RM, Resins/Steel & Concrete fabrication/Capital & non-capital purchase etc.
• Experience of Supplier Development & Management, Negotiation, Total cost
• Exposure to manufacturing process
• Good knowledge of Statistical methods
• Hands on, able to work independently in a structured way and drive organizational goals with suppliers.
• Excellent MS Office and SAP skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Good command of English language (both written and spoken), German language skills is beneficial
• Experience in working in Matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel
• In possession of driver´s license
• Military service completed for male candidates
• Independent and conscientious work style
• Intercultural competence

Job Description:

• Lead the assigned Sourcing Categories.
• Development of local supply base. Align with Global Procurement teams on potential and existing  local supply base.

• Drive market analysis, domestic & international price trends, Benchmarking, cost analysis, RFx        process, negotiations, contracting and management
• Report, monitor and drive Cost & Delivery performance. Execute TCO approach.
• Lead Value Engineering efforts to reduce costs
• Supplier relationship management
• Implement Global procurement strategies
• Initiate, perform and support improvement programs with suppliers e.g. for cost reduction, lean        manufacturing, quality/delivery performance, technology development
• Drive actions to avoid or respond to escalations with local supply base
• Support tasks for Global Procurement International
• Support and co-ordinate end -to-end freight & logistics management of materials
• Management and coordination of suppliers for the generator manufacturing
• Drive action plans with suppliers for gap closure
• Report, monitor and drive development of cost structures and other KPIs for the category
