To support our team in İzmir or İstanbul, we are looking to recruit a Regional Category Manager(Capex&Opex Material).

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Strategic material group responsibility in the area of capex and opex material
• Definition and creation of product group strategies and ensuring the same
• Independent execution of purchasing projects
• Contribution of purchasing and supplier know how to development projects
• Determination of the supplier portfolio and definition of target costs for purchasing
• Negotiation and awarding of framework agreements
• Identification of cost reduction potentials and their implementation
• Setting up sourcing initiatives and evaluating bundling opportunities
• Determination of procurement requirements, identification of potential suppliers for tenders and implementation of the RFI process
• Leading negotiations and preparation of award proposals
• Approval of orders from operational buyers and support as escalation level in case of necessary corrective actions
• Responsibility for receivables management towards suppliers and essential involvement in the supplier evaluation process
