QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Job:

  • Installation and support to the computers and peripherals, mobile devices and resolving the IT related problems
  • Installation and support to operating systems, system and business software
  • Responsible for periodical maintenance of the computers and peripherals
  • Controls third party’s activities and services (whether defected part is changed / repaired / system is fully functional / failure is removed / new problem is occurred)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provides support to end users regarding general IT requirements including hardware and Software, Mobile devices and IP telephony system
  • Provides technical support to access control system and surveillance systems and carry out Backup/Restore and maintenance works on them as per relevant procedure and instructions
  • Managing user accounts
  • Responsible of availability, maintenance and security of information systems in responsible area
  • Prepares manuals for usage of IT systems including hardware and software

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced level of English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to think analytical and solve problems from basic principles
  • Able to work without supervision
  • Customer oriented
  • Direct, forceful and action oriented
  • Ability to communicate in business friendly and user friendly language
  • Interest in technological advances
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Management
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other MS applications
  • Knowledge of access control systems
  • Knowledge of network systems
  • Knowledge of Information Security
  • Knowledge of Change Management

Required Experience:

  • University degree in relevant field
  • Problem resolving and professional usage of MS Office applications
  • Problem resolving on Computers, Peripherals, Printers, Wi-fi, Switches and routers
  • Have change management experience
  • 3 years experience in a similar position
