QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. has founded at 1957, is a recognized international EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) Company has designed and built many Projects for Oil and Gas Process, Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) Projects, Simple Cycle Power Plants (SCPP) Projects, Coal Fired Power Plants, Desalination Plants, Pipeline&Pump Stations, Well Pad Facilities, and the Tank Farms in all over the world up to date.
ENKA has its own `in-house` multi-disciplinary engineering team that performs all design services required for the development of above mentioned projects. ENKA Engineering team carries out Conceptual (FEED), Basic and Detailed engineering for the Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, Civil & Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
ENKA Engineering organization comprises of 3 main divisions located in Istanbul Head Quarter - Engineering Offices in Turkey;
· ENKA Civil, Structural and Infrastructural,
· ENKA Architectural Design, and
· ENKA Energy Engineering.
ENKA Energy Engineering is seeking for new teammates who will become the member of ENKA’s design & engineering team located in Istanbul, Turkey. We are seeking to hire a Design Engineer to be employed within the Energy Projects Design Center in Our Head Office in Istanbul.
QUALIFICATIONS
| · B.Sc degree in Chemical Engineering is required, (MSc. or Ph.D in Chemical Engineering is a plus), |
| · Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in upstream and/or mid-stream Oil & Gas Industry, |
| · Aspen Hysys and Aspen Plus software experience is preferred. Thermoflow knowledge is a plus, |
| · Solid basis on Chemical engineering fundamentals (Heat&Mass transfer, Fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, Reaction kinetics) is required, |
| · Very Good command of written and spoken English, being able to comprehend standards, specifications and other documents written in English, |
| · Good knowledge of MS Office programs, |
| · Some field experience is a plus, but this position requires hands on engineering (calculation and modelling), |
| · Strong communication skills, team worker, |
| · Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic, |
| · Ability to work with other engineering discipline teams, |
| · No restriction to travel / stay abroad, |

| · Preparing heat and mass balance using Aspen Hysys and/or Thermoflow, |
| · Preparing Process Flow Diagrams, |
| · Preparing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, |
| · Preparing Equipment Data Sheet, |
| · Line sizing, |
| · Equipment sizing, |
| · Review of Owners engineering documents (FEED), |
| · Review of vendor engineering documents, |
| · Exchanging the information with the other engineering disciplines and co-coordinating the works together, |
| · Performing FAT's as required, |
| · Construction and pre-commissioning supervision / site-support activities in case needed, |
