Laboratory Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Geological Engineer,
• Preferably having a Master’s degree in highway construction materials,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control and laboratory works in motorway projects,
• Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications (Euro Norm Standards, EN, ASTM, AASHTO, etc.),
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed,
• Strong communication, planning and team leading skills,
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive and energetic,
• No restriction to travel and stay abroad.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervising of site laboratory, ensuring compliance of testing with relevant standards and specifications. (Euro Norm Standards, EN, ASTM, AASHTO, etc.)
• Preparation of laboratory procedures, inspection & test plans, and approval of test reports according to quality management system and specifications.
• Preparation of mix design formulas for concrete and bituminous asphalt mixtures
• Testing of structural materials, soil, ground, quarries / borrow pits for suitability with the technical specifications.
• Responsibility for technical documentation of the quality control laboratory on using materials, testing equipment, and preparation of checklists for machines, calibrations, and documents for accreditation certificates.
• Ensuring personal and sub-ordinate personnel responsibilities are discharged strictly in accordance with project quality policy
• Ensure that all employees under their supervision are aware of all health and safety procedures and safe systems of work
