Job Purpose

• To provide technical energy management expertise in order to evaluate energy use in a facility and improve energy efficiency by assessing, optimizing and implementing energy solution where applicable. The right candidate will be able to identify any Energy Conservation Measures to reduce the energy bills in commercial and industrial buildings.
• The candidate will also have the responsibility to grow the teambased on success and potential business growth within Turkey.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or Energy related Engineering (4+ years Degree),
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Energy Management,
• Proven ability to effectively manage energy management projects with significant commercial awareness; experience in liaising with consultants and contractors; knowledge of resource planning, knowledge of design, understanding of energy efficiency processes, self-motivated, proactive and customer focused; knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD software.

Job Description

Technical Knowledge and Expertise

• Provide technical knowledge and expertise on new and refurbishment projects regarding sustainability, energy and water conservation in order to ensure the design is suitable and optimizes usage of energy,
• Show a strong knowledge in HVAC system, electro mechanical system, lighting and building automation system,
• Show a strong knowledge in Industry installation: Steam production and supply, Cooling production and supply, Air compressors system, heat and stream recovery system, co-generation and tri-generation, etc.

Energy Efficiency and Analysis

• Conduct manage the ASHRAE Energy Audit level 1, 2 and 3 in commercial buildings (Hospital, Shopping mall, Office buildings, etc.) and Industrial facilities with the ability to identify the Energy Conservation Measures (ECM’s),
• Prepare the energy audit plan considering the on-site HVAC asset and the timeline of the project,
• Proceed with technical survey, discussion with on-site maintenance team to understand site operation and operating hours of the equipment,
• Collect the technical data by using portable equipment (Power analyser, BTU and water meter, clamp meter, temperature and HR loggers, etc.),
• Maintain the instrument log and their availability in coordination with team,
• Extract and validate the data. Analyse the data collected in terms of Energy Performance. Understand the pattern and consequently define the energy baseline,
• Propose the Energy Conservation Measure and calculation the energy savings,
• Propose detailed scope of work and cost estimates, in addition to benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines, to ensure the best operational solutions are provided for Enova clients,
• Responsible of writing and delivering the Energy Audit report,
• Responsible of technical meeting with the client to explain the delivered audits and proposed energy savings solution,
• Conduct also Walk Through Energy Audits and deliver the associated report.

Business Development

• Contribute to Business Development by reviewing technical evaluation, scoping, resourcing and pricing of proposals for successful submission to ensure the technical accuracy of the proposals and that clients technical requirements are met,
• Client presentation to be performed along with the Business Development team.

Sub-contractor Management

• Manage the suppliers to get the technical and commercial proposal along with the procurement team. It includes on-site survey, technical scope of work writing, proposal analysis and comparison, technical selection of the suppliers,
• If the energy audit is subcontracted to a 3rd party, the right candidate will have to manage the subcontractor during the entire process to ensure the project success: audit timeline, measurement plan, review of ECM list and costing.

Project Support

• Provide inputs in the preparation of project specifications, drawings and tender documents for building services, improvement or plant replacement work, and obtaining the requisite statutory approvals, as well as providing technical expertise where required to ensure the quality and successful submission of such documentation,
• Supervise the coordination of building commissioning activities, including the assignment of a building commissioner / support staff and scheduling commissioning activities around building use to ensure building systems meet the design expectations of the owner.

Internal and External Relations

• Establish and maintain good relations with suppliers in order to serve the best interests of the organization and support in the negotiations and cost optimization while ensuring quality standards are met,
• Manage the coordination between Enova customers and the team members, and manage the customers’ expectations through clear communication and transparent work attitude, in order to ensure satisfactory completion of work,
• Develop a pro-active working relationship with all authorities and assist in establishing areas for service improvement, in addition to representing the company at regular meetings with the client and other authorities.

Workload Planning

• Assist with weekly workload planning schedules in conjunction with the team supervisor, taking a proactive approach to tasks, in order to efficiently manage workload and resources.

• Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality products / service and a responsible environmental attitude.
