ENOVAS is seeking Software Developers to join our Engineering team and help build the future of our products. The ideal candidate is a driven, well-rounded individual who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the software development cycle. They must have strong technical skills, be flexible, agile, and able to work efficiently on their own and with other team members.

JOB LOCATION: 2 Developers @Ankara (ODTU Teknokent), 1 Developer @Istanbul-Kozyatağı

Job Title: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER 

Reporting to the Software Manager, the software developer will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development cycle for core applications, test applications, and custom systems. Some of the developer’s main responsibilities will be:

• Deriving software requirements from customer and system requirements
• Supporting preparation of system and sub-system specification and design
• Developing user interfaces for system control applications
• Developing device drivers and test tools for custom hardware
• Defining and executing tests and test plans
• Performing SW-FW-HW integration and testing
• Performing system integration activities
• Recommending solutions based on existing technology and/or 3rd party products
• Liaising with Integrated Project Team members
• May be required to travel to customer sites for integration and support activities

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Software Engineer, Designer or Developer, or related work through co-op positions. He or she possesses at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar. The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have practical software design experience for complex systems including hardware-software trade-off, man-machine interface definition
• Have experience in SW development using C/C++, C#, embedded SW, integration, processors, and various input/output devices
• Have development experience using C/C++, C#, in concurrent, real-time and non-real-time SW
• Have developed software drivers for hardware control and Built-In-Test
• Have experience integrating COTS products with developmental SW
• Be capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
• Be experienced in test and debug of software on target hardware in a lab
• Have experience writing SW requirements, user manuals and software validation documents

What else is desirable?

Some additional experiences, education, or competencies that would be an asset are:

• Work experience in a defence-based company or on a defence-based project
• Development experience using C++ Qt widgets and applications
• Experience with low level interfacing of software to hardware and firmware
• Prior use of Microsoft Visual Studio development tools
• Experience within Electronic Warfare (EW) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) projects
• Experience with test equipment, including; signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers
• Understanding of communication theory
• Previous experience using JIRA, Jenkins, SQLite, and/or Scripting
