Position Summary:

Person is accountable to ensure specific product / industry technical support and to provide portfolio maintenance and development in order to contribute to a sustainable volume and profit growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provides sales team with technical support on specific product lines or projects, working closely with product management team.
• Develops direct and close relationships with customers’ technical team as to promote and to develop product portfolio
• Develops and supports new product launches working together with suppliers’ technical team and influencing positively the relationship between Univar and suppliers.
• Attends supplier trainings and seminars to improve and update personal product comprehension and application experience.
• Deliver high quality training to sales team to improve product and application knowledge and attend and prepare customers’ technical web seminars contributing to a sustainable product development.
• Collaborates effectively with many different companion groups that have involvement in the ongoing work including EMEA technical support and Application Lab. Team etc.

Profile:

• Food Science and Technology
• Knowledge of the practical application of food science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in same positions or application lab.
• English Language - Fluent
• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Computer skills - Experience/knowledge of Microsoft packages, including: Word, Excel, Outlook
