Service and Documentation Engineer

We are looking for an after sales and documentation engineer who will develop solutions to solve problems and provide support for our Talpa Mining team. 

Work will entail working around the country and abroad if necessary and providing service support from office to supply field services for our machinery operating worlwide.   

What are my responsibilities?

Perform fault intervention/elimination and maintenance

Carry out retrofit projects including communication with the customers for the required preparations and organizing needed resources

Carry out technical trainings  

Report service activities  

Work in close cooperation with sales and servicing teams to ensure effective lead generation for retrofit and service sales (service & maintenance contracts, spare parts, etc.),

Close follow up of new developments in product portfolio and improve own technical and application skills to perform services for new products,

Give constructive feedback to sales and service operations to increase process quality and customer satisfaction,

Keep building relationships and networking with key players in customers.

Preparing and updating spare parts boks, service manuals and service bulletins of machines in production

Follow up of warranty requests

What do I need to qualify for this job?

·         Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering,

·         Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance teams of factories or service teams of related product suppliers,

·         Analytical thinking, decision making, change orientation and good interpersonal skills,

·         Languages: must be fluent in spoken and written Turkish & English, Russian language is a plus

·         Being based in Izmir;  Ability to drive and travel in Turkey and abroad.
