Senior RF Design Engineer will design and test RF / microwave components/equipment having an operating frequency range up to 40 GHz for ground and airborne applications.
 
Qualifications

• MS/BS in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Design & Test experience of minimum 10-12 years in RF / microwave equipment in the frequency range of 100 kHz to 40 GHz, such as receiver, transmitter, synthesizer, power amplifier and antenna
• Understanding of RF System and sub-system architecture
• Have strong practical experience with at least one of the industry CAD simulation tools (ADS, AWR, Serenade, HFSS, Sonnet, CST etc.) and PCB design tools (Altium, Mentor, Cadence etc.)
• Able to perform well in a team environment and across technical functions
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills

• Hands-on experience in assembling, debug and integration
• Solid experience in product qualification tests in both military (MIL-STD) and civil (DO) standards
• Familiarity with the review and quality processes, as well as field testing of the product(s)
• Holding a Master or PhD degree in RF/microwave field

• Plan concurrent life cycle activities and the parallel development of RF components
• Determine and manage RF hardware and interface requirements
• Generate potential/alternative RF design solutions and select preferred design among alternatives
• Develop detailed design of RF hardware components and interfaces
• Support management of RF hardware components and obsolescence management throughout its lifecycle
• Support production of prototype and first article for RF hardware components
• Develop and perform unit tests for individual RF hardware components
• Determine and support integration strategy for hardware components
• Determine and support hardware integration environment
