Qualification:

• Having at least a Bachelor's degree (preferably Environmental or Mechanical Engineering),
• Ideally experience in engineering, production or other relevant heavy industry,
• Having at least 8 years of experience in the field of HSE,
• In possession of minimum class B certification (preferably NEBOSH certificate),
• Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
• Successful in human relations, prone to teamwork,
• Has the ability to plan, follow, control and report,
• Open to innovation, creative and development-oriented,
• Confident and experienced in working interdisciplinary and international companies,
• Relevant HSE qualification and understanding of key HSE topics with relevant experience,
• Ability to balance time sensitive priorities efficiently,
• Strong ability to affect change, with experience in implementing HSE initiatives and strategies,
• Leadership skills, in particularly leading a team of HSE professionals,
• Experience with the implementation of management systems compliant to standards ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Job Description:

• Align with company's purpose, policy and strategy,
• Performing the duties defined in the 6th, 8th and 30th articles of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No:6331, together with the Occupational physician, as defined in Article 30 of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331,
• Following the local legal legislation on HSE issues, to carry out studies to fulfill the legislative requirements,
• Ensuring that all steps of the company's activities comply with the HSE rules and legal requirements, and to ensure that the necessary precautions and trainings are taken in this regard,
• Ensuring that environmental, occupational health and safety and process safety activities are carried out in line with environmental, occupational health and safety and process safety legislation, standard and global rules,
• Maintaining the highest level of HSE awareness and develop Safety Culture,
• Providing HSE measures and metrics, to determine the measures to be taken for the prevention of work/environmental incidents and occupational diseases, to supervise and to carry out the monitoring of their implementation,
• Ensuring the implementation and continuation of the HSE system in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
