JOB PURPOSE 
 
An exciting opportunity exists for the most personable Retail Host to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys” to deliver a “Michelin-starred” retail guest experience. Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss Hospitality and luxury in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of four ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers. 
 
Key Accountabilities 

• Deliver a truly unique & unparalleled retail guest experience, through inspirational presentation & story-telling of the products and brands we offer. 
• Create one-of-a-kind special moments through immersive education, leading to lasting memories. 
• Evoke meaningful purchases by creating affinity to the products and brands on offer. 
• Deliver ad-hoc personalized shopping services as required throughout the journey. 

Qualifications 

• Ability to educate in a motivational style, whilst personalizing your approach to diverse, discerning guests. 
• Confidence & eloquence presenting in both intimate and public settings. 
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in luxury watches stores as certificated specialist is a must. 
• Previous experience in luxury / premium retail services could be an advantage. 
• Proficient in English. Any additional languages, particularly European languages is considered an advantage.

Possess a valid passport and seaman's book if available.
