The Immigration Specialist will coordinate the collection and processing of documents required for inbound immigration while ensuring compliance with all immigration legislation and processes.
 
The Immigration Specialist will work closely with Immigration Lawyer Manager and with other Immigration team members, as well as Consulate/Government officers, Visa agencies and Immigration lawyers while conducting daily activities of our clients.
 This position is for a 12 month contract.

We are seeking for a Immigration Specialist  to join our EY Legal department inİstanbul with the following qualifications;

• University degree in law from a reputable Turkish University
• Strong corporate know-how in Turkish Commercial Code and Code of Obligations, Labor law and Personal Data Protection Law.
• Fluency and high command in verbally and written in both Turkish and English.
•  Bachelor’s degree preferred
•  Relevant experience is required 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Ability to work with a team
• English / Turkish proficiency required
• Good command in MS Office

İŞ TANIMI

•       Work with Immigration team members and clients to complete work permit, residency permit and/or visa requirements
•       Ensure all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
•       Coordinate with third parties regarding documentation needs (country specific)
•       Communicate with various government agencies for certification legalization, translation, etc. of documents
•       Tracking and fulfilling software systems on case basis if required 
•      Process Visa and work permits when applicable
•       Maintain immigration files 
•       Update internal immigration systems 
•       Track visa and work/residence permit progress and providing notice beforehand the expiration dates of residence/work permits
•       Track costs relative to immigration (legalization, translation, etc. )
