About the Role:

We are looking for an İstanbul based Accounting and Tax Expert who will be directly reporting to Tax & Corporate Affairs Manager. The responsibilities and the qualifications are mentioned below:

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger closure process
• Manage the month-end closure activities and posting the related provisions
• Prepare the of statutory BS and PL
• Manage transfer-pricing reporting
• Assist tax manager during external and internal tax audit issues
• Support tax declaration preparation process
• Perform ad hoc and special projects assignments, as required
• Develop close working relationships with the accounting teams of the group companies in order to ensure tax standards are followed
• Follow up the legislation and the recent and upcoming changes in the regulation in a timely and appropriate manner
• Assist calculation of tax provisions for inclusion in financial statements
• Perform local tax planning and reporting for optimization of tax position

Who we are looking for:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines
• Experience of 4-5 years in accounting/tax departments in a multinational environment
• Local accounting , Turkish uniform chart of account and general tax experience knowledge is a must
• Good command of verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
• Tax audit experience is an asset
• SAP knowledge is an asset
• CPA is an asset
• Good level of MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
• Must be a team player with a positive and co-operative attitude
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities and meet deadlines
• Military service must be completed for male candidates
• No restriction for travelling
