General Requirements

• Great enthusiasm for working on engine, powertrain and vehicle engineering fields
• Master or bachelor degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering from a reputable university
• Fluency in English, German will be plus
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently
• Output-oriented and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in internal combustion engine simulation and design tasks
• Knowledge of powertrain systems such as cooling, air intake, exhaust etc.
• Capability to resolve technical issues in engine simulation and CAE tasks
• Material and manufacturing know how and experience preferred
• Working knowledge of solid mechanics, structural (explicit/implicit) simulations and durability
• Proficiency in at least one of the CAE tools such as Abaqus, Hyperworks, Ansys and Nastran etc

Your Job

• Performing advanced computer aided simulations in at least one of the following fields: Structural mechanics, engine thermodynamics, multi body dynamics and NVH
• Supporting the development and application of engine, powertrain and vehicle projects
• Close cooperation with internal departments, customers and suppliers
• Generate creative and innovative solutions to technical problems
• Internal and external presentation of project results
