General Manager

We are looking to hire an experienced General Manager with an economics / finance / business administration background to join our family office in BODRUM.

The candidate will use his/her experience and competence, and good business understanding to independently provide Professional services in business operations of the Companies and the Owner and assist him whenever required.

The role requires the ability to manage and develop the inactive businesses in the USA and Europe, mainly for the smooth running of operations at the highest standards and the cut off in budgets.

Qualifications: 

1.     University Degree in Economics, Finance and Business Administration with a second and/or master degree in a related dicipline in US or UK is highly desired.

2.     At least 15 years of similar professional experience at similar positions in well known companies is essential.

3.     Working experience in US or UK will be an asset.  

4.     Excellent Proficiency in Business English is a MUST.

Skills:

1.     Excellent presentation and negotiation skills both in Turkish and English. 

2.     Ability to manage complex issues, think strategically, understand the business goals and perspectives and exercise good judgment. 

3.     Ability to work in an international matrix environment with the Owner.

4.     Good self-awareness, constructive mindset, eager to seek and receive feed-back, prompt responsiveness in a reasonable time manner.

5.     Integrity, loyalty and dedication to the Owner and his Companies must be of the highest level.

6.     Able to make priorities and excellent time and stress management is a MUST.

7.     An active listener, practical, humble, hard working with a Professional work discipline. 

8.     Natural problem solver, Positive with a  “can-do attitute”.

9.     Should be able to quickly develop a respectful and strong internal and external network.

10.  Non-smoker.

11.  No restriction to travel abroad.
