General Manager

We are looking to hire an experienced General Manager with a civil engineering and/or architecture background to join our family office in BODRUM.

The candidate will use his/her experience and competence, and good business understanding to independently provide Professional services in all kind of business operations of the Companies abroad and Turkey and assist the Owner. 

The role requires the ability to manage the companies and develop businesses and projects in the USA and Europe, mainly for the smooth running of operations and the cut off in budgets.

Qualifications:

1. University Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Architecture with a second and/or master degree in a related area in the US or UK is highly desired.

2. At least 15 years of similar professional experience with a minimum 5 year of high level managerial position in well known companies is essential.

3. A valid US visa (until 2023 at least) holder is a MUST.

4. Excellent Proficiency in Business English and presentation / negotiation skills both in Turkish and English is a MUST.

5. Working and/or studying experience in the US and/or EU will be an asset. 

6. Experience in the follow up of permission processes with the Governmental Bodies is preferred.

7.  Knowledge in Budget planning and reporting, contract management, team management and feasibility studies is essential.

10.  No restrictions for long international travels.
