QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Sales Director for our company which operates in the automotive supplier industry and is a leader in its field.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for;

  • Defining and managing sales, marketing and business development strategies and action plan to achieve sales targets
  • Establishing new business opportunities with targeted accounts through prospecting, networking, qualifying, and closing techniques
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Building a high performance inside sales team
  • Leading and managing a team of field sales people and be accountable for their results; motivating, setting targets and ensuring ongoing capability development
  • Defining, analyzing and reporting KPIs, and performing various reports on sales and market performance

 

Essential requirements for the Sales Director role include;

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration disciplines and related fields (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 10+ years related sales or marketing experience of automotive industry required
  • Proven successful career in a multinational or export company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
  • Ability to work in a highly visible role that requires exceptional vision, leadership and a blend of analytical and creative thinking
  • Experience in international business development and start-up processes
  • Extremely strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a multi-country / multi-cultural environment, strong diplomacy skills
  • Strong team management, coaching and leadership skills with a proven ability to get the best out of existing people, and be able to bring great new people into the team
  • Self-motivated with high energy and time-manager
  • Experience with SAP and CRM Tools
  • No restrictions to travel
  • Being able to reside on Istanbul Anatolian Side
