QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Chemistry
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in laboratory with a corrosion and paint/coating/rubber/material tests related expertise is required.
- Experience in testing, documentation, specification and related standards is required.
- Good knowledge of testing methods and standards especially in military or automotive field is preferred.
- Ability to discover and implement innovative test approaches and evaluation of data
- Ability for reporting and documentation
- Eagerness to learn new topics regarding test methods and action oriented.
- Good verbal communication, written communication, presentation, problem solving and interpersonal skills are required.
- Fluence in both verbal and written English is required
- Willingness to work in lab environment; orderly, punctual and persistent personality
- Strong teamwork compliance is a must
- No restriction for traveling
- No military obligation for male candidates
İŞ TANIMI
The materials and special processes engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing material, paint, coating, elastomers' qualification and verification tests in the lab as well as on-site if necessary
- Analyzing retrieved data and prepare reports for management
- Operating laboratory equipments such as environmental, corrosion and mechanical test setups
- Designing and executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures
- Maintaining equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Enhancing laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Writing proposals, reports and scientific publications within the scope of R&D projects
- Writing procedures and reports for laboratory tests and trials of new processes
